General Information:

The Cash and Investments Office (CI) is recruiting for a full time Bank Account and Prepaid Card Administrator. CI manages the university’s banking and various supplier payment options. The CI Bank Accountant & Prepaid Card Administrator will play an integral role in the delivery of these services, particularly related to our prepaid card programs.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Administer US Bank Prepaid Card Programs, including processing orders, funding and reconciling the programs to make sure all requests are compliant with state and university policies.
  • Create and administer end-user training for prepaid card programs.
  • Provide customer service to campus community.
  • Serve as backup program administrator for university Small Purchase Charge Card (SPCC) program.
  • Serve as back-up for university disbursement process including processing and approval of Accounts Payable disbursement files, check production, secure transmission of ACH, positive pay, outsourced check files and electronic vendor payment files.
  • Assist with treasury functions of the university including daily management of bank accounts, reconciliation of bank accounts to ERP system and cash activities.

Qualifications:

 

Required:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with all levels of personnel and external customers
  • Ability to interpret and apply policies and procedures
  • Must be able to multi-task: prioritize projects and deadlines
  • Knowledge of fiscal operations, including commercial banking and purchasing card program
  • Ability to audit and reconcile financial reports
  • High level of confidentiality must be exercised at all times
  • Microsoft Office Suite Experience


Additional Considerations

  • Experience with Finance ERP systems and online banking applications
  • Experience in Higher Education
