General Information:

The Department of Health Professions is seeking a part-time Administrative Assistant. This position will support the Dietetics and Health Services Administration programs.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support for the Dietetics and Health Services Administration programs by assisting faculty and program leadership with daily operations, coordinating travel, purchasing, and expense processing. Maintain student, academic, and program records, support admissions and degree-tracking processes, assist with accreditation documentation, and help coordinate program events and activities.

 

Qualifications:

• Strong understanding of office administration practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel, along with excellent computer and data-entry skills
• Exceptional attention to detail
• Effective accounting/bookkeeping knowledge
• Outstanding written, verbal, and telephone communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, follow through on tasks, and maintain strict confidentiality

 

Conditions of Employment:  

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.

This is a part-time wage position working up to an average of 29 hours per week over the course of a calendar year with no benefits.
