General Information:

The Honors College is seeking an additional Federal Work Study–eligible student assistant to support front desk coverage, perform routine administrative duties, provide tours for prospective students and families, and assist with special events and projects as needed.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work at the reception desk and answer the main phone line.

Help the administrative team with everyday office tasks like copying, faxing, scanning, troubleshooting printers, and delivering items across campus.

Give tours and answer questions for prospective students and families during their visits.

Represent the Honors College in a friendly, professional, and respectful way.

 

Qualifications:

Have a working knowledge of the Honors College and its program offerings.

Be able to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Communicate clearly and comfortably, including answering phones.

Show enthusiasm for the Honors College and enjoy sharing it with others.

Must be Federal Work Study eligible

 

Additional Posting Information:

The scheduled work hours for this position are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00–11:00 a.m. during the Spring semester, totaling six hours per week. Additional hours may be available for shift coverage or support at special events.

 

Conditions of Employment:  

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
