General Information:

The Building and Event Student Assistant plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the College of Business facility, assisting with routine building issues.
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (Flexible shifts within this timeframe)


 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supports daily operations for the College, assisting with routine building issues and event prep as needed (occasional furniture movement is needed)

• Perform routine walkthroughs to identify maintenance, safety, or cleanliness issues
.
• Assist with inventory management of supplies and organization of common storage areas.

• Manage COB lost and found inventory, storage, record keeping, and pickup processes

• Assist with classroom locking procedures for COB each week

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Comfortable with basic office technology
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a professional setting
• Positive attitude and a commitment to customer service

Conditions of Employment:  

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
