General Information:

Facilities Management is currently seeking a student storekeeper assistant to help with the daily processes within the storeroom.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing service to customers at the storeroom window
•Processing purchase requests into software system
•Receiving and processing package deliveries
•Making deliveries of housekeeping supplies on campus as needed
•Assisting in keeping the warehouse clean and organized

 

Qualifications:

•Basic computer skills
•Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Conditions of Employment:  

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).

The Office of Disability Services (ODS) at James Madison University (JMU) is seeking a talented, motivated person to work as a part-time Exam Accommodations Assistant. This is a 9-month position that corresponds with the JMU fall and spring semesters: August through May. This posting is for a part-time wage position with no benefits. This position is limited to a maximum of 1,500 hours per year (May 1 to April 30), with an average of 29 hours per week. The regular shift is six to eight hours per day, Monday – Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. with alternate hours during Final Exam Week (December and May). Due to the access this position has to undergraduate records, current JMU Undergraduate students are not eligible for this position.
