The Festival Conference and Student Center is seeking motivated and dependable students to join our Operations team as Building Managers for the 2026-2027 academic year. Building Managers play a vital role in supporting the safe, welcoming, and effective operation of one of JMU's most active campus facilities. Working independently and collaboratively, Building Managers support events, assist guests, operate facility technology, respond to operational needs, and contribute to a positive experience for students, staff, and visitors. Campus Programming Team Facilitators are JMU students who facilitate weekly recurring and specialty programs hosted by the Department of Student Life. These positions support programs such as Tea Time, Crafternoon, Trivia, Secret Supper Club, JMU Flea, and more! In addition to facilitating programs, team members will also conduct marketing and outreach activities on an occasional basis. These positions are not eligible for remote work. This team will support the mission of Student Life to foster belonging through the personal growth and development of an engaged citizenry by providing welcoming experiences and spaces. This is achieved through our shared vision of helping every student engage in making meaningful connections that influence positive change in their lives and communities. A successful candidate will need to be available to work during at least one of the following program times: •Trivia, every Tuesday, 6:30 - 9:30pm. Program run time 7:00 - 9:00pm •Tea Time, every Wednesday, 2:30 - 5:30pm. Program run time 3:00 - 5:00pm •Crafternoon, every Thursday, 11:30am - 4:00pm. The JMU Health Center is seeking new members for our team. This position is for a Medical Administrative Assistant (MAA). The MAA is a front desk position responsible for checking patients in and out, addressing students concerns, answering phone calls, etc. Hours are limited and not guaranteed. The University Health Center provides a comprehensive array of health care services and health education programs to JMU students. Included in our health care services are several medical clinics, a pharmacy, a medical laboratory, and other programs that provide services for more than 30,000 patient encounters a year. JMU's Philanthropic Communications team is looking for a curious, relationship-driven Langridge Fellow to join us for the 2026-27 academic year. In this year-long role, You’ll serve as a liaison to our partner, Valley Scholars, by: helping build a framework for lasting community among their students and alumni; writing stories that inspire giving to the program; and keeping their giving websites up to date. In the spring, you'll support Family Business Symposium, one of Principal Giving's signature donor events. You will gain hands-on experience building systems for alumni engagement through social media and newsletters, maintaining accurate donor records in Salesforce, and supporting high-touch events, all while developing professional skills through close mentorship and structured supervision. Student Case Administrators (SCAs) are undergraduate students who conduct one-on-one Individual Accountability Case Reviews for students who are alleged to have violated university policy. In Individual Accountability Case Reviews, SCAs evaluate evidence to determine whether or not the Responding Party is responsible for violating policy and, if applicable, assign outcomes. Student Case Administrators are undergraduate staff members in the Office of Student Accountability and Restorative Practices who participate in staff training and professional development; assist with various programs, outreach opportunities, and educational programs; and collaborate in the recruitment and selection of staff and volunteers.

As a student assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service to patrons in person, over the phone, and via email. Responsibilities include processing ticket sales for both phone and in-person transactions, assisting with game day event operations, and performing end-of-day balancing and reconciliation of cash drawers. You will also stay informed on all policies, events, and schedules to ensure efficient and accurate service. Additional duties include supporting crowd control, ticket sellers, and general operations, as well as facilitating pass gate operations for various admissions and complimentary passes. The Centennial Scholars Program (CSP) is committed to increasing access to higher education for talented first-generation Pell grant-eligible students from the Commonwealth of Virginia. We provide academic resources, connect students to campus programs, facilitate a successful transition to college, and support students’ success while they earn a college degree. The Social Media & Content Student Assistant supports First-Generation Programs by creating and sharing content that promotes events, celebrates first-gen stories, and increases awareness of departmental initiatives.
