General Information:

The University Health Center (UHC) provides a comprehensive array of health care services and health education programs to JMU students. Included in our health care services are several medical clinics, a pharmacy, a medical laboratory, and other programs that provide services for more than 30,000 patient encounters a year. UHC practices evidence-based medicine in a confidential, inclusive environment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintain nursing skills including Nurse Triage, initial assessment, phlebotomy, administering immunizations and TB skin tests. Work with team members to ensure students’ needs are met in a timely manner. Supervision of full-time nursing staff.

 

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Virginia Nursing License.
  • Experience supervising nurses, including evaluations.
  • Experience in an acute care facility.
  • Experience with medical team collaboration.
