General Information:

For current JMU undergraduates only. This part-time student job entails working within and leading the multimedia advertising team at The Breeze, JMU’s student-run news organization.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

You must be able to coordinate with the advertising team to generate multimedia sales and collaborate with ad designers to create engaging visual content. You must be knowledgeable about social media and engagement, and should be able to schedule social media posts across various platforms. This includes staying updated on multimedia trends and technologies. You will also be expected to assist in the production of video advertisements, including filming, editing, and post-production. You will also be expected to understand how to design graphics and multimedia elements for various projects and presentations, and you should be able to maintain and organize multimedia assets for easy accessibility. You will have the opportunity to contribute innovative ideas for improving multimedia content and process, and will support live events by providing photography and video assistance as needed.

Conditions of Employment:  

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
