General Information:

The Health Sciences Department is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented student for the 2026-2027 academic year. This position will specifically support HTH 100. The student must be available to work 10 hours per week, M-F, between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

-Provide assistance to faculty/staff in/out of the classroom as needed.
-Record management, computerized and manual.
-Filing, data entry using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software.
-Operation of copier/scanner.
-Complete projects and any other duties assigned by faculty and staff in a timely manner.
-Respect the confidentiality of the documents being handled and the department.
-Be responsible, dependable, and professional at all times.

 

Qualifications:

-Available to work 10 hours per week, M-F between the hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. Work shifts must be at least two hours long.
-Ability to work independently.
-Good communication skills, in-person and via various technologies.
-Professional attitude.
-Shows initiative.
-Excellent organizational skills.
-Proficient with Excel and Word, comfortable with Zoom.

Conditions of Employment:  

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
