General Information:
James Madison University, a Division I Member of the NCAA and Sun Belt Conference, is accepting applications for two Fan Engagement Assistant positions for the Athletics Fan Engagement Department.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Athletics Fan Engagement Assistant will report directly to the Associate Director of Fan Engagement and will serve an integral role in the operations of the fan engagement (marketing) department, working directly with several sports. This position will develop and execute marketing plans for assigned sports, to include creating attendance programs and initiatives while overseeing game day atmosphere, fan engagement and overall marketing operations.
Other duties will include assisting the Fan Engagement Department with promotions and game day operations for football and men’s and women’s basketball, and supporting other department initiatives and special projects as assigned. This position will be required to work in an office as well as at numerous athletic events and other promotional events.

This is a part-time wage position working up to an average of 29 hours per week over the course of a calendar year with no benefits.
