General Information:

The Office of the Vice Provost for Faculty Affairs and Curriculum is responsible for a wide array of duties, including faculty and curriculum development, academic program reviews, policy, and more. We work closely with the Provost and other leaders in Academic Affairs. We are located on the Quad, in Sheldon Hall.

This position will work primarily with the Office Manager and the Academic Effectiveness and Evaluation team, as we digitize paper files and complete various office tasks. We welcome a candidate who has a keen eye for detail, can work independently, and meet deadlines.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Operation of copier/scanner
- General office duties, including preparing mailings, campus errands, and more
- Scan, organize, and digitally store faculty transcripts
- Understand and maintain confidentiality
- Organize data into Excel spreadsheets
- Support the Office Manager as needed

 

Qualifications:

- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrated attention to detail
- Professionalism and reliability – demonstrate punctuality, responsibility, and the ability to meet deadlines consistently
- Tech proficiency and adaptability – comfortable using Microsoft Office, Excel, email platforms, and basic office equipment; willing to learn On Base and other new tools as needed
- Experience working with confidential data preferred
- Willing to work up to 10 hours per week
- Must be Federal Work Study eligible

 

Additional Posting Information:

Please be available to work within the hours of Monday - Friday, 9 am to 5 pm.

 

Conditions of Employment:  

Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
